Siohvaughn's "damaging lies" regarding their transgender daughter Zaya are criticized by Dwyane Wade.

In a lengthy Instagram post on Thursday, the retired NBA player responded to Siohvaughn Funches-shocking Wade's court document, stating he is not "surprised" by her "effort to battle Zaya's identification" and "drag [his] reputation through the mud."

Wade, 40, wrote: "I'm quite frustrated that she keeps finding ways to focus herself and HER demands, without consideration to her kids.

"Over the years, I've given her the chance to get in touch with Zaya's educators, medical professionals, and therapists, as well as meet some of her friends, so she could have her own understanding of our child's needs for her LIFE!

" He went on.

She won't comply! The former Miami Heat star accused Funchess-Wade, 41, of being a "absent parent" who claims to be a "wonderful Christian mother" but has missed every performance, graduation, school dance, play date, practice, parent-teacher conference, etc.

In response to Funches-accusations, Wade's Wade insisted that he and his current wife, Gabrielle Union, would never "force Zaya or any of [their] children to do anything against their will, much less force an identity on them," adding that he will not "sit on [his] hands" in the face of the allegations.

He said, "The high road has run out of space." "My attorney will get back to you."

It was reported on Wednesday that Funches-Wade, who was wed to the Olympian from 2002 to 2010, objected to her ex-petition husband's to have Zaya's name and gender changed legally in August.

"I have worries that [Wade] may be forcing our child to move forward... in order to benefit on the money offers that he has received from companies," the author claimed in court filings acquired by Page Six.

Two years after Zaya came out as transgender, Funches-Wade filed a lawsuit. Since then, the teen has displayed her sense of style by appearing at Fashion Week events and modeling for commercials.

In an Instagram post, Wade commended his daughter, noting that she has "a 4.0 GPA in honors classes."

He continued, "While managing all this unwanted and damaging attention and disputes about her gender and sexuality from those who are determined to not listening to her, much less even knowing her, Zaya has maintained" her grades.

In the comments section, supporters of the sportsman, who is also the father of Funches-20-year-old Wade's son Zaire, defended the teenager.

She is becoming into a stunning, strong young woman, one social media user said. "Anyone who doesn't support our endeavor is losing out."
