Daniel's alleged audio clip went viral

Daniel Padilla remains unfazed by a recent controversy pointing to him as the guy in a viral audio clip caught swearing and poking fun at a man. The guy was also heard talking about a certain girl’s text message, which seemed to make him giddy. He also mentioned 'Patrick’ and ‘Sam,’ which netizens think refer to Sam Concepcion.

Netizens further surmised the girl being talked about in the audio clip is Sam’s girlfriend Jasmine Curtis, Daniel’s co-star in the upcoming movie “Bonifacio.”

Grateful to fans

Daniel took to Twitter to thank fans amid the new accusations being hurled against him.

“Marami man ang naninira saakin.. Wala sakin yun.. Dahil mas marami ang nag mamahal sakin.. Maraming salamat at mahal na mahal ko kayo,” Daniel posted.

He did not address the controversy directly, but expressed appreciation for fans who always stand by him.

Message to bashers

“Gusto ko po mag pasalamat sa lahat ng sumusuporta saakin simula pa nung simula.. maraming salamat dahil kayo ang dahilan kung bakit nandito ako ngayon at kung bakit maginhawa ang buhay namin ng aking pamilya.. Maraming maraming salamat at kayo ang pumuprutekta saakin sa kahit ano man ang sabihin ng ibang tao saakin. Ako po ay talaga masayang masaya at nandyan kayo para saakin. Pasensya na din po kung minsan e nagkukulang po ako sainyo. Malaking malaki ang utang na loob ko sa inyong lahat. Maraming salamat po ulit sa inyo at sana magkasama tayo habang buhay.”

Daniel also gave a message to his detractors.

“Gusto ko lang sabihin, ituloy niyo lang iyan. Galingan ninyo,” Daniel said in an interview on “The Buzz.”

Sam Concepcion has no comment

Sam refused to comment on the issue when interviewed on the same show.

“I’m sorry. It’s not for me to answer or talk about.”

He clarified that he and Jasmine are okay,

Meanwhile, Daniel’s mother, Karla Estrada also defended her son, saying that there are many who will protect the teen actor.

“Isa na namang kampon ng kadiliman ang nagtangkang sirain ang anak ko. Hindi ka magtatagumpay dahil marami kaming magtatanggol,” Karla tweeted.
